Cornish Language Weekend

A weekend for learning and speaking the Cornish Language

For many Cornish speakers the high point amongst language events organised through the year is the Cornish Language Weekend which is held in the Spring. There is a long tradition of Language Weekends.

The aim of the Language Weekend is to give Cornish speakers and learners a chance to practise speaking, listening and writing the language in an enjoyable way and in a friendly, stress-free and relaxed environment, and we hope we do that successfully – why not come and take part?

The 2024 Cornish Language Weekend was held on the 12th – 14th April 2024 at Lys Kernow (New County Hall), Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY.

Dates and plans for the 2025 Pennseythen will be uploaded as they become available.
