Karol Nadelik, A Christmas Carol, is the first complete Dickens novel to be translated into Cornish. This festive classic is suitable for fourth grade students and above. The original tale was written by Dickens after a trip to Cornwall and features Eddystone Lighthouse as well as a mining family. Jacob Marley, the dead partner of Scrooge, was named after a friend of Dickens, one Dr Marley of Padstow whom he stayed with on his trip.

This edition of Karol Nadelik includes the illustrations from the first edition of 1843.

Written by Charles Dickens, translated into the Kernewek Kemmyn form of Cornish by Steve Harris and published by Kowethas an Yeth Kernewek in 2011. 94 pages.
