The Cornish language, Kernewek, is at the heart of Cornish culture and history.
It has been successfully revived in this century after having been dormant for more than two hundred years and is now used by an increasing number of individuals and organisations.
This course, in three books with accompanying audio, aims to give the learner the means of acquiring a sound knowledge of both spoken and written Cornish. It can be used equally in groups or at home. It is arranged around a series of ideas such as existence, identity and ownership and so on and language structures are introduced and explained as they are needed. There are full vocabularies and copious examples.
