Description
Keur Heb Hanow singing traditional carols in the Cornish Language, including a free copy of Ken George’s Karolyow.
The choir hope that people will enjoy listening to the carols both for the music and for the pleasure of exploring the Cornish language. To that end, they have included the words on the insert both in Cornish and English.
Founded in 2012, Keur Heb Hanow performs exclusively in Cornish. Its members are Judith Lawrence, Miranda Penhaligon, Sarah Tresidder, Roz Peskett, Susan Hall, Steve Penhaligon and Howard Peskett, with accompanying musicians Pippa Drummond on piano and Mary Jones on flute. They have won the Old Cornwall Shield three times in the traditional Cornish carols class.
