Sales

Nov 2024-Oct 2025’s reports showed book sales increasing by 18%, with costs also decreasing from £20k to £12k. This is due in large part to our move to Print on Demand, facilitated by Lulu, ceasing upfront printing costs and needing minimal storage.

The Kowethas Co-ordinator has found the Print on Demand system to be very effective and easy to manage, as well as being generally well-received by our customers. Further, this allows us to publish books without worrying about selling at high volume. We will be looking at ways to implement this benefit in future, further increasing the variety of books sold.

Book sales were fairly well-distributed, with Pop-Up Kowsva sales just edging out sales via our website. Our own publications continue to be the best earners for us, with Broder Wella (published 2024) especially popular. We aim to release Broder Wella A dhe Gembra in the coming year.

Current Projects

This coming year will see the publication of the following titles:

  • Gwenili hag Amazones (Swallows and Amazons), Arthur Ransome, tr. Davyth Fear
  • Kernow ha’y Breselyow Ystorek (Kernow and its Historic Wars), 2nd ed., Rod Lyon
  • A new graded reader aimed at beginners
  • A new anthology of poetry and prose

If you are interested in publishing your own work, whether original or in translation, through us, please send us an email.
